Led by Camp Director, Rick Hutchinson, or "Hutch" as he is known in the hockey world, our camps and consulting services bring decades of hockey program experience within the Anaheim Ducks organization directly to you. Hutch has been a key figure in shaping young talent and pioneering grassroots hockey start-up programs for the past 25+ years. Now, he is bringing that expertise and offering specialized hockey camp services across Southern California and selected destination spots globally.

Vision for the Future: Hutch is now focusing on expanding his influence and passion for hockey. He aims to leverage his extensive experience to offer specialized hockey camps and consulting services that foster talent and drive excellence in the sport.

Meet our staff coaches:

Rick Hutchinson - Better known as "Hutch", coach Hutch brings 25+ years of experience in grassroots hockey programs in Southern California. 

Vicky Wang - Vicky is a former Olympian and has spent 2 decades coaching youth hockey programs in Southern California

Tomas Kapusta - After his playing career, including the 1994 Winter Olympics for Czech Republic, Tomas has built several youth hockey grassroots programs for the Jr. Kings, Jr. Reign and the California Surf

PROGRAM 1 - DECEPTIVE PUCK CONTROL  

Explore our most demanding camp yet, suitable for all players with basic skating and stick handling abilities. Discover the techniques of elite edge work, seamless puck handling, and elusive skating maneuvers. Master one-on-one dekes and deceptive plays transform into an offensive threat every time you handle the puck. This camp is designed to challenge even the most skilled players, teaching the same deceptive moves used by professionals. It's an intensive experience that keeps you engaged from start to finish!

Open to all ages. Must have basic skating and hockey skills.

• 3 hours on ice daily- 7:45 AM Check-in , dryland, snack break, end of day pick up 12:30 PM

PROGRAM 2 -  POWER SKATING, TRANSITIONS & PLAY MAKING 

Explore advanced techniques for perfecting your stride, utilizing innovative methods to maximize speed and agility. Dive into three intensive days dedicated to refining balance, enhancing core coordination, and mastering the art of skating, passing and play making skills. Conclude each day with exhilarating team scrimmages. Train hard, play even harder and have FUN!

*Groups divided by age and skill level. Ages 5-14; Basic Skating Skills Required

• Ice Realm Westminster July 8-10 (Tues-Thurs 7:45 AM-12:30 PM) Join Today!
• Camp fee: $375 * includes camp jersey (limited 1 jersey per camp season)

PROGRAM 3 - SHOOTING TO SCORE & GOALIE CAMP

Ready to become a sniper and outmaneuver the goalie? Before you can score big, you need to master the art of shooting. This program zeroes in on the essential techniques and strategies that turn players into sharpshooters. Whether you're a forward or a defenseman, unlock the secrets to becoming a formidable goal-scoring threat. Goalies are also invited to join (Goalie instruction available with paid registration).

Open to all ages and skill levels. Basic skating and hockey skills required.

Program 4 - TRANSITION SKATING TECHNIQUES, PASSING, & MINI-GAMES

The Transition Skating Techniques, Passing, & Mini-Games Camp at Ice Realm Westminster focuses on edge control, quick transitions, and smart passing through high-tempo drills and mini-games. It's perfect for players looking to boost their hockey IQ and in-game confidence.
