Classes and public sessions are valid only for the registered session and are not transferable. Make-up classes are available in a class of the same level, if available. A lower-level class may be taken if the same level is not available. Helmets are strongly recommended but not required.

Specialty Class Descriptions

Power Skating
Increase your strength, conditioning, and skating skill level.

Stations
Rotate through stations each week focusing on jumps, spins, and gliding moves.

Axel Prep
Begin working toward the defining Axel jump with technique-appropriate drills.

Off-Ice Jump & Rotation
Work on correct technique and positioning to improve your jumping ability.

Off-Ice Stretch & Conditioning
Support your skating with off-ice training. Open to youth and adult skaters. Skaters must have taken or be enrolled in at least one basic skating class.

Hockey Intro to Power Skating
Focus your basic skating skills on developing more power and speed.

Hockey Intro to Stickhandling
Learn basic stickhandling skills and develop your confidence with the puck.

Skate USA's mission is to provide a fun and positive experience that will instill a lifelong love of skating. Something happens the moment your kid’s skates touch the ice. It's surreal. Empowering. It’s the experience where kids learn much about skating, and themselves. Your child learns glides, swizzles, edges and crossovers. Your child learns positivity, confidence and personal strength.

A LTS membership lasts from July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027 - please remember to renew if you have yet to do so!
