Remembering Jennifer Rader

A Message to the Ice Realm & San Diego Skating Community

Dear Ice Realm Skating Community,

It is with deep sadness that we share the unexpected passing of Jennifer "Jennie" Rader, Operations Coordinator and Program Manager in Carlsbad.

Jennie was an important part of our organization — a friend, a mentor, and a leader to many. She made a lasting impact through her dedication, her kindness, and the relationships she built with so many of us. Her presence will be deeply missed across our entire rink community.

We understand this news is difficult to process. We encourage everyone to take the time they need and to support one another during this time. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to reach out to your leadership team.

We will continue to share updates on ways we can honor Jennie's life and legacy in the coming days.

In the meantime, we ask that you keep Jennie's family, friends, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.

Message from Kevin Wendt

Dear friends and loved ones of Jennie,

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of Jennifer "Jennie" Rader on April 3, 2026.

Jennie was deeply loved by so many. Her kindness, warmth, and compassion touched countless lives, and her absence leaves an immeasurable void.

During this incredibly difficult time, we are working to honor Jennie with the care and dignity she deserves. We are currently arranging her cremation and memorial service.

As many of you know, unexpected expenses like these can be overwhelming. We are humbly asking for any financial support to help cover these costs and to honor Jennie's life in a meaningful way.

If you feel moved to contribute, any amount — no matter how small — would mean so much. All contributions will go directly toward Jennie's final arrangements and her memorial.

If you are unable to give, your prayers, support, and sharing of this message are equally appreciated and deeply valued.

Thank you for loving Jennie and for helping keep her memory alive.

With gratitude,
Kevin Wendt
