Getting Started

First Steps -> Discover the joy of skating with our FREE "First Steps" Ice Skating Program! This introductory program is designed for first-time skaters to experience the thrill of being on the ice, absolutely free of charge! Our 3 week ini Learn to Skate session will teach the basics of skating; including how to sit and stand up on the ice, march and glide. Run by professional skating staff, this program is designed for skaters aged 4 to 12.

Learn to Skate Skating School -> The Learn to Skate (LTS) sessions are introductory classes designed for children with no prior skating experience. These classes build confidence while teaching the basic skills of skating. Aimed at children 5 and under, the classes focus on developing the ABC's of movement: Agility, Balance, Coordination and Speed.

Try Hockey for Free -> The Try Hockey event is designed to provide kids and adults the opportunity to try hockey in a FUN, safe environment with trained coaching staff. No experience necessary! There will be plenty of assistance on hand to provide the best hockey experience and answer any questions you may have!

Little Kings -> an introductory experience for children ages 5-9, designed to build confidence, teach teamwork, and ignite your child’s passion for hockey. Through a USA Hockey-approved format of on-ice instruction, we blend fun-filled activities with essential skill-building drills.

Become a Hockey Player

Learn to Play Hockey 101 -> this is a program for boys and girls that are interested in learning the basics of hockey and gaining some ice experience before joining a team. This program provides fundamental skills necessary for future participation in hockey leagues. This program is designed to foster a love for the game and build strong foundational skills for players of all levels.

High School Hockey

SoCal Girls High School Hockey -> A competitive yet developmentally focused high school hockey division for girls (8th - 12th graders) across Southern California. This division consists of 4 regional teams where players live and attend school. After a successful spring season, we are excited to announce the division will return in the fall of 2025 - with a longer season and skills clinics! Join us for another exciting round of competitive play, team spirit, and continued growth for girls’ hockey in SoCal!

Jr. High Hockey -> a developmental pathway designed for Junior High players aiming to reach JV and Varsity high school hockey. With a focus on foundational skills, team play, and game awareness, players grow in a structured and supportive environment. Off the ice, athletes build connections with future school teammates, fostering camaraderie and a stronger sense of community. Whether you're new to the game or preparing for high school tryouts, this league offers the tools, experience, and guidance to grow with confidence.

Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League (ADHSHL) -> Run and affiliated with the NHL's Anaheim Ducks, this Orange County based league caters to youth high school players throughout Southern California. Through this league, we are proud to provide the opportunity for high school players from 4 different programs; Inland Empire United Wolverines, St. John Bosco Braves, Carlsbad United, and the Frontier Selects.

Inland Empire United Wolverines -> IEU Wolverines was created to offer the great opportunity of high school hockey to the represented school districts based in the Inland Empire. Wolverines hockey includes 3 teams; Varsity, Junior Varsity and Junior Development; which provides a path for players to develop through the ecosystem. Home to the 2024 JV champions, the Wolverines strive to be competitive every season, aiming to improve each season.

Braves Unified -> The Braves Unified Hockey Club is the high school hockey team of St. John Bosco in Southern California, competing in the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League across multiple divisions including Varsity and Junior Varsity. Since its inception in the 2014–15 season, the program has built a strong legacy, securing several divisional titles, CIF championships, and national accolades while also facilitating combined club and high school play alongside a supportive host-families system.

Carlsbad United -> Carlsbad United's goal is to provide players and families a great hockey experience. Playing in the league offers its players a festive high-school type sports environment similar to what high school football, baseball and basketball athletes in Southern California have enjoyed for decades. As the sport continues to grow in the SoCal; we provide a chance for players to pursue their athletic goals.

U20 Elite College Prep Hockey

United States Premier Hockey League -> The USPHL is a solid development platform that is spread out from east to west in the United States. This league, founded in 2012, has grown to 60 organizations that fields teams in the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC). A tier 3 division, we strive to provide players the opportunity to pursue collegiate hockey in the future. As part of the USPHL pacific division, we are proud to operate the San Diego Sabers and the Ontario Junior Reign (OJR).

San Diego Sabers -> The Sabers are based out of Carlsbad IceTown (40 minutes north of San Diego), their goal is to develop players not only on the ice, but off the ice, to prepare them for educational and athletic goals. Since the Sabers inception, there have been over 80 players that have moved on to higher levels of hockey and education.

Ontario Jr. Reign -> Like the Sabers, the OJR's primary goal is to develop players on and off the ice, to prepare them for educational and athletic goals. The OJR are based at Ontario Center Ice, and since their inception, have been a powerhouse in the USPHL pacific division. Ranked as a top 10 team in the entire USPHL, the OJR were the Pacific Division champions in 2024.
